Manchester MOPs

MOPs (Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers) groups are communities that strive to meet the needs of every mom with children from birth through kindergarten. MOPS recognizes that urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be. MOPS groups can help! We are a MOPs group that meets at Trinity Covenant Church in Manchester, CT on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month during the school year and at area parks during the summer.

Mary Cheney Library

The Mary Cheney Library in Manchester hosts many programs for small children. This includes storytime sessions and the program “Born to Read” for 0-12 month old babies and their parents.

Northwest Park Trails

Northwest Park on 448 Tolland Turnpike in Manchester, is a large, beautiful park perfect for a family outing. There are hiking trails, a large playground, observation deck overlooking Union Pond and sporting fields.

Wickham Park

Wickham Park, located on West Middle Turnpike in Manchester, is a terrific park open all year round. Visit Wickham Park in the summer for the zoo, gardens and kite flying and in the winter for sledding fun on the hills.
